Hailing from the independent music scene in Sydney is its newest arrival, ZaraMeow.
A killer piano player and singer with songs such as Amoeba on my Saturn, Liver, and Violent Bitch (a bluesy tongue in cheek song about self-expression). Zara has played at such venues as The Vanguard, The Basement and has also started to make inroads in the Northern Rivers playing in Nimbin and Lismore’s Serpentine and Lismore Regional galleries. ZaraMeow has also featured in Southern Cross Uni’s O week and nearly every pub in Sydney since 2007.
Zara’s style is punkesc and lyrically intelligent yet at time heart breaking and sentimental. Her banter between songs and storytelling shows a sense of humour all her own
